Ferrari has had 36 successful novelty stores around the world. But as of Thursday, you can count it to 37, with Ferrari opening a new one in midtown Manhattan.

Ferrari novelty stores worldwide usually show off, and occasionally sell Ferrari-priced memorabilia and merchandises. It also helps the brand keep intact with its luxurious religion, and for those who own one to be proud of that the maker of their car has more money to waste on other things aside from making cars.

The grand opening of its latest Ferrari novelty store, located on the corner of 55th street and Park Avenue, was graced by not-so-famous Hollywood stars - Olivia Palermo, Mathew Settle, Justin Theroux, Zach Braff and Kiera Chaplin. Personally, I haven't heard of them except for Zach Braff. Thanks to Wikipedia, I get to know who the others were.

But for those car enthusiasts who care less of these stars, Ferrari also made sure they will enjoy the grand opening. Ferrari exhibited some of its famous creations including the 1959 250 California, 1984 GTO, a new 458 Italia, 612 Scaglietti, a new California and a limited edition 599 GTO.

Aside from selling memorabilia and merchandises, the novelty store is also to pay homage to Ferrari's 60 years in the industry.
